PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double roof formed in an extremely rigid structure against the loads applied to the upper roof by wind and snow. SOLUTION: This double roof comprises a lower roof board 1, an upper roof board 2 formed in the generally same structure as that of the lower roof board 1, supporting metal fittings 3 for supporting the lower roof board 1 on structural members 8, intermediate supporting devices 4 positioned generally just on the supporting metal fittings and supporting the upper roof board 2 through the lower roof board 1, and connecting supporters 5 joining the connection part of the lower roof board 1 to the connection part of the upper roof board 2. A lower roof A is formed of the lower roof boards 1, an upper roof B is formed of the upper roof boards 2, and the connecting supporters 5 are disposed between the intermediate supporters 4, 4.
