<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lubricating a harmonic speed reducer, by which method, lubricating oil can be surely supplied from outside to the lubricating portion of the harmonic speed reducer built in the case of a device. <P>SOLUTION: The harmonic speed reducer 5 is arranged inside the case 2 of a turn table device 1. The lubricating oil is jetted into an oil supplying hole 21 formed on a cup shape flexible external gear 12 from an oil supplying passage 22 formed in the case 2. An inner wave bearing 19 is lubricated via the oil supplying hole 22. The lubricating oil entering the inside of the flexible external gear 12 is recovered via an oil recovery passage 23 formed in the case 2 by being forcedly sucked outward. As a result, the oil sucking phenomenon due to the negative pressure state inside the flexible external gear caused by its high speed rotation can be prevented, and the portion of the wave bearing 19 can be surely lubricated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
