COMPUTER EQUIPMENT METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT, DEVICE AND SYSTEM, FOR MAKING NEUROPSYCHIATRIC DIAGNOSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer equipment method, a device and a computer program product, for making diagnoses on neuropsychiatric diseases.

SOLUTION: The quantitative information of diagnostic features for a patient is generated from analysis on a set of the patient's scan images. This quantitative information includes the indexes of a set of his potential neuropsychiatric conditions related to the area of concern included in the set of his scan images. The indexes of the set of his potential neuropsychiatric conditions are compared with a set of diagnostic signatures. Each of the diagnostic signatures includes a set of indexes of a known neuropsychiatric condition. Coincident signatures are discriminated in them. The coincident signatures each forms a set of diagnostic signatures corresponding to at least an index in the set of indexes, and are intended to form a set of signatures. Thus a set of potential diagnoses are formed by discriminating every diagnosis related to signatures in this set of signatures. The set of potential diagnoses are displayed together with links to the related part of medical literature.
