PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a wide light-emitting wavelength region and high luminous efficiency, or a solar cell having high photoelectric conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: A substrate for a photoelectric conversion element has an uneven structure on at least a part of at least one of surfaces of the substrate, the uneven structure has two kinds or more of two-dimensional periodic structure parts with different periods, at least one kind of two-dimensional periodic structure part in two or more two-dimensional periodic structure parts, form a micro area consisting of two units of two-dimensional periodic in the uneven structure, and is mixed with an other two-dimensional periodic structure part with different period. |
