PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis device and analysis method with which it is possible to prevent specimen carryover between a biochemical analysis module and an immunity analysis module while improving the throughput of the entire analysis process.SOLUTION: Provided is an automatic analysis device 100 equipped with an analysis module group including at least one immunity analysis module 5 for performing an immunity analysis on a specimen to be analyzed and at least one biochemical analysis module 6 for performing a biochemical analysis, wherein, when a plurality of specimen containers having identification information associated with each other and in which same specimens are accommodated are supplied, at least one specimen container is carried to one of the immunity analysis modules 5 and immunity analysis is executed, and at least one other specimen container is carried to one of the biochemical analysis modules 6 and biochemical analysis is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
