The present invention relates to a lantern capable of non-contact type operation, the lantern comprising: a case (1); a lamp (2) which is installed on one end part of the case (1) so as to emit illuminance; a non-contact type switch which operates in order to turn the lamp (2) on or off; a control unit (7) which controls the operation of the lamp (2) according to a switching signal of the non-contact type switch; and a power unit (8) which supplies power to the lamp (2) by means of the control unit (7), wherein the non-contact type switch comprises a motion sensor (5) providing the switching signal by detecting the proximity-state movement of the case (1), and the lamp (2) is driven in a non-contact way by means of the motion sensor (5). |
