摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical silica-based mesoporous body which has a metal (Me) capable of forming a metallosilicate in the silica skeleton introduced thereinto, and which is able to have sufficiently high monodispersity and sufficiently high adsorptivity.SOLUTION: A spherical silica-based mesoporous body has an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 1.5 μm and an average pore diameter of 3 to 30 nm, and has a metal (Me) capable of forming a metallosilicate in the silica skeleton introduced thereinto, in which the content ratio ([Me]/[Si]) of silicon (Si) and the metal (Me) included in the skeleton is 0.01 to 0.5 in terms of metal atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
