The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a system by means of which sealed surfaces having a high mechanical load capacity and especially long durability can be produced economically and with relatively little process complexity in construction at or below ground level, in particular in hydraulic engineering and in underground construction. This problem is solved by a substance mixture of the following composition according to the invention: 60 - 80 wt% of skeletal component A, consisting of quartz sand having a grain size in the range of 0.063 - 2 mm, 20 - 40 wt% of binder component B, consisting of a mixture of clay and a quartzitic mineral, wherein the quartzitic mineral has a grain size in the range of 0.002 mm - 0.063 mm, and wherein the mixture contains a fraction of 0.01 - 1.0 wt% of a cross-linking agent, wherein the cross-linking agent consists of 85 - 98 wt% of C8 to C18 fatty acid derivatives having a terminal amino group or sulfate group, 1 - 5 wt% of non-ionic polacrylamide, and 1 - 5 wt% of cationic polyacrylamide, and 0.001 - 0.01 wt% of surfactant component C. |
