PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of preventing the degradation in cleanability due to excessive electrostatic charging of the transfer residue toner by appropriately controlling the electrostatic charging amount of the developing toner on a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The toner has a binder resin, toner particles at least containing specific carbon black and a specific azo-base iron compound and inorganic micro-powder. The toner particles are produced by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition at least containing the polymerizable monomer, the carbon black and the azo-base iron compound in an aqueous medium. The polymerizable monomer composition is prepared by mixing a dispersion liquid dispersed with the carbon black and the azo-base iron compound in a first polymerizable monomer with at least a second polymerizable monomer.
