ACCESS NETWORK SELECTING METHOD

An access network most suitable in view of the entire paths for communication can be selected by defining procedures for sending information used for selecting a most suitable access network. An access network selecting method comprises as procedures, the steps of sending an identifier corresponding to an accessible access network from a sender terminal which sends a sending request and the user's request to a sender intranet device, sending the identifier and the user's request from the recipient terminal which has received the sending request to the recipient intranet device, sending a list of candidates of an access network assigned to the receiving terminal from the recipient intranet device to the sender terminal, allowing the sender intranet device to determine an access network to be assigned to the sender terminal and sends the fact to the sender terminal, allowing the sender terminal or the sender intranet device to notify the recipient intranet device of the type of the access network assigned to the sender terminal, allowing the recipient intranet device to determine an access network assigned to the recipient terminal and to notify the recipient terminal of the fact.
