<p>Melt-spun thread comprises a thermoplastic and elastomeric polyester copolymer (I) containing repeating structural units, which are derived from different diols e.g. polyether diol; and a thermoplastic polyester copolymer (II) containing repeating structural units, which are derived from different dicarbonic acid or its polyester-forming derivatives. Independent claims are included for: (1) a procedure for the production of the thread comprising extruding a mixture containing (I) and (II) through a spin nozzle, withdrawing the formed filament, and optionally drawing and/or relaxing the formed filament; and (2) a planar textile structure, preferably fabric, comprising the threads.</p> |
