<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a large amount of lactic acid in a solution state in the process of regenerating a lactic acid based biodegradable plastic by mainly using a lactic acid based biodegradable plastic waste for recycling. <P>SOLUTION: The process of regenerating a lactic acid based biodegradable plastic comprises introducing waste containing the lactic acid based biodegradable plastic as a substance to be treated and 20% water based on the total weight of the introduced substance to be treated into a treatment chamber 1 to seal the chamber (step S1), thereafter heating the inside of the treatment chamber 1 to 140°C (step S2), maintaining the pressure in the treatment chamber 1 at a saturated steam pressure at the heating temperature of 140°C to advance a heating mode of the hydrolysis reaction of the substance to be treated (step S3), controlling the pressure and the temperature, after completion of the heating mode of the substance to be treated, by lowering the vapor pressure in accordance with a predetermined saturated steam pressure curve in a cooling mode (step S4), coagulating the steam in the treatment chamber 1 to a lactic acid aqueous solution (step S5), recovering the extracted lactic acid aqueous solution (step S6), and recovering a solid remaining in the treatment chamber 1 (step S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
