POLYESTER FILM FOR FORMING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent formability at a low temperature and low pressure, transparency, solvent resistance, heat resistance, antistatic properties, and reduction in environmental burden without causing film blocking or breaking when drawing out a long length film taken up in a roll form. SOLUTION: An antistatic polyester film for shaping has a biaxially oriented polyester base film including copolymer polyester, and an antistatic layer which includes an antistatic agent and is formed on one side of the base film wherein (1) stress at the 100% elongation of the film in each of longitudinal direction and lateral direction is 40 to 300 MPa at 25°C, respectively, and 1 to 100 MPa at 100°C; (2) thermal contraction rates of the film in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction are 0.01 to 5.0%; (3) haze is 0.1 to 3.0%; (4) surface roughness (Ra) on at least one surface is 0.005 to 0.030μm; (5) a surface orientation is 0.095 or smaller; and (6) the surface specific resistance of an antistatic layer on the at least one surface 1×106to 1×1013Ω/square.
