<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid such print setting that processing on print data is duplicately performed, to prevent data output unintended by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When the processing to the print data is performed on a printer, a printer driver, and an application, an execution place and an execution situation of the processing are made to be referred to in the printer delivered with the print data (step S803). When the printer confirms the effect that the processing of bookbinding layout is completed (step S805), setting of the processing related to the bookbinding layout is restricted on the printer such that the processing is not duplicated (step S806).
