PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumption unit order system, etc. which enables a user to select a supplier of a consumption unit and order the consumption unit based on the latest information when replacement or the like of the consumption unit is required.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 is provided with a means for reading out information on a plurality of suppliers which is stored in a memory of a detachably attached consumption unit from the memory, and a means for transmitting the read information on the suppliers to a terminal device 2. The terminal device 2 is provided with a means for accessing servers 3 to 5 of respective suppliers on the basis of the transmitted information on the suppliers and acquiring information on the consumption unit, a means for displaying the acquired information and a means for ordering the consumption unit to a supplier on the basis of a user's order instruction. After ordering the consumption unit, the information on the supplier is stored in a storage means.
