摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake-air control device capable of suppressing a reduction in controllability of an intake-air flow rate of an air-intake device including a flow rate control valve for an air-intake passage, a bypass passage for bypassing the flow rate control valve and having a first portion and a second portion with a larger flow passage resistance than that of the first portion, and a bypass flow rate control valve for controlling an intake-air flow rate in the first portion. <P>SOLUTION: The intake-air control device for controlling the air-intake device includes a flow rate control valve 7 for an air-intake passage 3a, a bypass passage for bypassing the flow rate control valve and having a first portion 12 and a second portion 10 with a larger flow passage resistance than that of the first portion 12, and a bypass flow rate control valve 21 for controlling an intake-air flow rate of the bypass passage in the first portion. The control device also includes a calculating means for calculating a target value of the intake-air flow rate in the bypass passage based on an intake-air flow rate required on the downstream side of the flow rate control valve, and a setting means for setting an opening of the flow rate control valve from the target value and a predetermined specific value.
