<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for more suitably removing deposit adhering and accumulating on an injection hole part of a fuel injection valve. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine performing a deposit removing process when quantity of deposit adhering and accumulating near the injection hole part of a fuel injection valve exceeds allowable quantity, the quantity of deposit adhering and accumulating near the injection hole part is judged based on viscosity of fuel used in the internal combustion engine to perform deposit removing process at appropriate timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
