A physical distribution management system using RFID and a method thereof are provided to match the number of a mobile communications terminal and the RFID code of a product/mobile vehicle and trace the location of the mobile communications terminal by using an LBS using a wireless network, thereby easily grasping the movement route of a product. A physical distribution management system using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) comprises a product RFID tag(10), a vehicle RFID tag(20), a RFID reader(30), a mobile communications terminal(40), a LBS(Location Based Service) center(50), and a CS(Contents Server)(60). The product RFID tag is attached to a product and store the instinct code of the product. The vehicle RFID tag is attached to a vehicle and stores the instinct code of the vehicle. The RFID reader reads the product RFID instinct code and the vehicles RFID instinct code, matches the read codes, and transmits the matched codes through a wireless network. The mobile communications terminal reads the vehicles RFID instinct code through the RFID reader. And the mobile communications terminal matches the RFID instinct code of the vehicle and the terminal number(MDN: Mobile Directory Number) of the mobile communications terminal and transmits the RFID instinct code of the matched vehicle and the terminal number through the wireless network. The LBS center traces and transmits the location of the mobile communications terminal. The CS stores the product RFID instinct code and the vehicle RFID instinct code transmitted from the RFID reader, the vehicles RFID instinct code and the terminal number transmitted from the mobile communications terminal, and the location information of the mobile communications terminal transmitted from the LBS center. And the CS matches the transmitted codes and the numbers and produces a DB. The CS updates the DB on the web. |
