A method and a system for classifying a category of a keyword by using a relation level are provided to classify the keyword excluding basic data by using a relation level between the basic data classifying the category and the keyword sold to the same advertiser. Basic data is kept by using a keyword relation level(S201). A category of a first keyword is set by using a relation level between the basic data and keywords sold to the same advertiser(S202). A plurality of keywords includes the first keyword and at least one second keyword included to the basic data. The first keyword is added to the basic data in relation with the category(S203).
