PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared detection device which allows input/output characteristics of an infrared detector to be appropriately corrected by a small number of correction points.SOLUTION: The infrared detection device includes: one or more infrared detectors which generate an output electricity quantity corresponding to input infrared rays; and a correction operation unit 25 which determines a temperature corresponding to the input infrared rays on the basis of the output electricity quantity by correcting input/output characteristics of the infrared detectors by an exponential function.
