PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for facilitating the personal identification of an applicant of a document.SOLUTION: An information processing system, for managing image data on a document, and image data on an identification card including the face image of an applicant of the document, associates document image data acquired as image data with identification card image data to store them. A face image is detected from the stored identification card image data. The information processing system includes means for displaying a screen obtained by associating the stored document image data or a link for displaying the document image data with the face image detected from the identification card image data stored in association with the document image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
