PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive document transport device which can read documents different in thickness and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the document transport device.SOLUTION: A document transport device 11 includes: a holding member 101 for holding first and second follower rollers 23 and 24; and a spacer 110 which supports the holding member 101 and including a plurality of support faces different in height. The prescribed support face is allowed to support the holding member 101 by manual operation in accordance with thickness of a document from the plurality of support faces of the spacer 110. Thus, an interval between a first transport roller 13 and the first follower roller 23 and an interval between a second transport roller 14 and the second follower roller 24 are constituted to be changed. A white board 16 is constituted to be pushed above a contact glass 17a at the tip of the document S passing above the contact glass 17a. |
