PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard asphalt composition suitable as a binder for a goose asphalt mixture improving workability at 210°C as a temperature during paving with flowing the goose asphalt mixture from a cooker vehicle, which is about 30°C lower than a temperature currently used, less in odor during working and excellent in flowability resistance and crack resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a hard asphalt composition containing 100 pts.wt. of a mixture of (A) a naphthenic reduced pressure distillation residual oil having a predetermined property of 55 to 67 pts.wt. and (B) a solvent deasphalting pitch having a predetermined shape obtained by an extraction treatment of a residual oil containing atmospheric distillation residual oil and/or reduced pressure distillation residual oil with a light reformate as a solvent or 33 to 45 pts.wt. and having the content of natural asphalt of less than 1 pts.wt based on 100 pts.wt, of the hard asphalt composition, penetration degree (1/10 mm) at 25°C of 15 to 30 and the softening point of 58 to 68°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
