PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-bearing type reel configured so that hold properties are good, its weight is reduced, a spool capacity is secured and maintainability is superior.SOLUTION: A reel body 1 of a double-bearing type reel of the present invention has a frame 7 where a peripheral shape of an anti-handle side constitutes a side plate 7A of a side view circle shape and an opening part 7g for spool insertion/removal is formed in the handle side, and a cover body 15 detachably fixed at the opening part 7g side of this frame and constituting a side plate 1B of the handle side. The double-bearing type reel is characterized as follows: the frame 7 and the spool 3 are formed so that d/D becomes 75% to 95% when assuming the outer diameter of the side plate 7A of an anti-handle side is D and an outer diameter of a flange 3a of a spool 3 is d; and the opening part 7g is exposed by removing the cover body 15 fixed to the handle side from the frame 7 to enable attachment and detachment of the spool 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
