PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decompression mechanism of an internal combustion engine capable of improving assembling accuracy and restraining costs by reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: A decompression mechanism 51 of an internal combustion engine can be switched between a projection position P1 at which a minute lift part 55 projects from a base face 25a of an exhaust cam 25, and a retreating position P2 at which the minute lift part 55 is retreated from the base face 25a. The decompression mechanism 51 includes: a bent steel wire part 52 integrated with the minute lift part 55 and a centrifugal weight part 58; a pivot part 65 for rotatably supporting the bent steel wire part 52; and a decompression spring 68 that can hold the minute lift part 55 at the projection position P1, and allows the minute lift part 55 to move to the retreating position P2 with a centrifugal force F of the centrifugal weight part 58. |
