PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase interruption sensing method, in which a simple hardware configuration realizes cost reduction, the load on CPU by reducing deceasing the IRQ number, reducing misdetection by detecting the phase interruption from two aspects, phase difference and voltage sign, and enabling identification of the phase which has interrupted. SOLUTION: In a three-phase converter of a power source missing phase detection method, the neutral point (N1) is connected to a negative pole side bus line (N) of a DC side output of a rectifying means. The other end of first resistor of each phase, connecting a first resistor to a second resistor for each phase, is connected to an AD converter via a high input impedance means for each phase, to detect a voltage of each phase. The voltage of each phase is outputted to a CPU which is a phase interruption determining means. Phase interruption is identified, when the signs of two phases differ from each other while it becomes a half-wave rectification waveform of phase difference of 180°in the inter-line voltages of three phases acquired, based on the voltage of each phase.
