PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cutting device of a printer, in which a push button 30 for opening that opens and closes an open/close cover 3 and a manual cutter for cutting a printing paper (a label continuum 4) can be commonly used and the number of components is decreased, which is reduced in size and weight and can be easily operated.SOLUTION: A paper cutting device of a printer, configured focusing on integration of a push button 30 for opening with a manual cuter, comprises: a platen roller 24 that holds a printing paper 4 together with a print head 23 (a thermal head 23) and rotates; and a push button 30 for opening that is operated to separate the platen roller 24 from the print head. The push button 30 for opening faces an issuing port 46 for the printing paper 4 having been printed by the print head 24 and an end portion of the lower side of the push button 30 for opening is formed as an end portion 39 for cutting paper. |
