<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedless propagation method comprising introducing at least one recombinant gene product or its functional fragment into a plant. <P>SOLUTION: This culture method for the propagation of the plant from a plant starting material, wherein a root or shoot initiation is stimulated by introducing a nucleic acid encoding a receptor-like kinase capable of being hybrid-formed in a nucleic acid molecule of RKS 10 originated from Arabidopsis or functional fragment thereof into the starting material, allowing reducing or omitting phytohormone addition to the culture.
