<p>The method involves providing an extrusion head comprising an aperture that determines an outer circumference of a conductor, where the aperture determines respective cross sectional area of sheathing layers. The aperture of the extrusion head is changed during production process of the conductor so as to set a different conductor diameter and a different thickness of the sheating layers. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing an electrically insulated conductor.</p> |
