An analogue switch, a switch system and a method for use therewith

An analogue switch (100) is provided, comprising a first transistor (101) formed with an isolated body having one end of its conducting channel connected to the input (102) and the other end connected to the output (103). The analogue switch (100) also comprises a body potential control circuitry (120) arranged to set a body potential (105) of the first transistor to the potential of the input or output that constitutes the source of the first transistor (101). A gate potential control circuit sets the gate of the first transistor (101) to the body potential (105) to set the switch (100) in the "off state", or sets the gate of the first transistor (101) to a voltage level that differs from the body potential (105) to set the switch (100) in the "on state". A switch system comprising such analogue switches and a method for providing an analogue switch are also disclosed.
