PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer fluid-tight slide fastener, fit for long-time repeated use even when put under considerable conditions of temperature, tension and pressure. SOLUTION: In this fluid-tight slide fastener, a tape 12 has a layered structure including an inner reinforcing textile material layer enveloped in a fluid barrier layer made of a thermoplastic elastomer material. The tape 12 is characterized in that the textile material for the inner reinforcing layer is chosen among polyethylene terephthalate PET, polyamide PA and their blends or copolymers, the thermoplastic elastomer material TPE for the fluid barrier layer is chosen between thermoplastic polyurethane TPE-U and thermoplastic elastomer polyester TPE-E, and the thermoplastic material for the teeth 21 is chosen among polybutylene terephthalate PBT, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene ABS, polyamide PA and their blends or copolymers.
