<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that quantity of immersing water is large if detergent such as car shampoo is contained in water splashing on a coil. <P>SOLUTION: A water drain groove is formed at a plug hole seal side of a boundary part of a plug hole seal and an ignition coil device case. Transmission (penetration) of water to atmospheric side opening part 4a of an air passage 4 from the boundary part can be inhibited and a waterproofing property can be improved, thereby. A guide facilitating drain of water and a protruding rib blocking water if water directly drops to the atmospheric side opening part 4a of the air passage 4 are formed at the ignition coil device case side.
