Appliance for charging batteries, electrically connectable to an alternate-current power source comprising converter means for converting the alternate current supplied by the source into direct current, at least one power supply stage comprising a plurality of channels. These channels are electrically connected in parallel to respective sets composed of one or more batteries connected in series. This appliance permits submitting each set of batteries to a corresponding charge cycle and in particular comprises a logic unit for the centralised control of the power to be supplied to the single sets, to which it is connected to perform the charge cycles according to the operating conditions of the single sets. |
