The present invention provides a polymer optical waveguide which has good dimensional accuracy and can be handled by a machine. The present invention pertains to a polymer optical waveguide composite characterized by including: a polymer optical waveguide that has cores and cladding arranged around the cores; and a film base material, wherein the polymer optical waveguide and the film base material are in contact with each other via an adhesion layer containing a thermosetting or photocurable adhesive, the film base material has a glass transition temperature of 180°C or higher, an adhesive force (measured at a peeling angle of 90° and a peeling speed of 50 mm/min) between the polymer optical waveguide and the film base material is 0.25 N/10 mm or higher after the adhesive of the adhesion layer has been cured, the adhesiveness (measured at a peeling angle of 90° and a peeling speed of 50 mm/min) of the adhesive of the adhesion layer is 1.1 N/10 mm or lower after the adhesive of the adhesion layer has been cured, the adhesion layer has a storage elastic modulus (measured at a frequency of 10 Hz by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement) of 4 MPa or higher, and the total of the thicknesses of the polymer optical waveguide, the adhesion layer, and the film base material is 100 μm or more. |
