PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush in which a DC motor and a vibration shaft are contained in a stem member.SOLUTION: The electric toothbrush has a stem member, to/from which a brush part is attachable/detachable. The stem member is made of a synthetic resin, and has a hollow part for containing a DC motor and a vibration shaft connected to the DC motor. The one end of the hollow part is opened, and the DC motor and the vibration shaft are inserted therefrom, and the other end of the hollow part is closed. The free end of the vibration shaft is rotatably held in the other end of the hollow part. The hollow part has a conic inner wall, and the shoulder of the DC motor is crimped to the conic inner wall, and thereby the DC motor is held in the hollow part firmly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2C |
