PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the direct transmission/reception of data or the like as needed even between a main information processor and any of a plurality of sub information processors connected to the main information processor in series.SOLUTION: A main information processor 10 is connected to CPUs 11 functioning as control parts of peripheral devices 1 to 3 that are a plurality of sub information processors in series through a first communication line 7. The respective peripheral devices 1 to 3 respectively include a second communication line 12 provided in parallel with the first communication line 7, and changeover switches 13 to 16 for switching the first communication line 7 and the second communication line 12 in accordance with a communication state with the information processor 10. When the communication lines in the peripheral devices 1, 2 are switched from the first communication line 7 to the second communication line 12 in conjunction with the changeover switches 13 to 16, the information processor 10 and the peripheral device 3 can perform one-to-one direction communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
