PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding end tab that is used for welding two H-section steel beams in one RHS (rectangular hollow section) column, and provide a welding method.SOLUTION: A welding end tab 1 acts as the end tab used when two beam members are transversely shifted to a column member and welded simultaneously. The welding end tab includes a base body of a rectangular solid as a whole and is characterized as follows: one side of perpendicular two side surfaces of the base body is a second base material contact surface coming into contact with one beam member that is a second base material; the other side surface is a third base material contact surface coming into contact with the other beam member that is a third base material; a recess 20 that is a welding use part of a predetermined depth is formed in the corner part at the intersection of these second and third base material contact surfaces; the one side part of the recess is brought into communication with one welding groove formed between the one side surface of the first base material and the second base material; and the other side part is brought into communication with the other welding groove formed between the other side surface adjacent to the one side surface of a first base material rectangular steel tube and the third base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
