PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for manufacturing fine particle polyarylene sulfide (PAS) by enhancing transportation property of a fine particle PAS-containing solid article after solid liquid separation from a separation liquid obtained by separating granular PAS and the separation liquid from a dispersion liquid containing the granular PAS.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method for manufacturing fine particle PAS including following processes: (a) a separation process for separating fine particle PAS and a separation liquid from solid liquid separation using at least one screen with sieve opening diameter in a range of 75 to 180 μm from a dispersion liquid containing granular PAS; (b) a solid liquid separation process for solid-liquid separating the dispersion liquid to obtain fine particle PAS-containing solid article; and (c) a deliquoring process for conducting deliquoring of the fine particle PAS-containing solid article to obtain a wet cake with liquid containing percentage of 52 wt.% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
