VOICE INTERACTIVE DEVICE AND INTERACTION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice interactive device which can set a length of message voice replayed during a response time so that even when response times are uneven in length, degradation of sensory quality of a user during the response time can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A voice interactive device 3 calculates a probability distribution of response times after inputting voice of a user is finished until a content is presented to the user and when the response time is equal to or shorter than an estimated response time, determines a length of message voice on the basis of the probability distribution so that an evaluation value to be a sum of a first expectation value with respect to first sensory quality of the user in the case that first message voice as long as the estimated response time or a time after subtracting prescribed offset from the estimated response time is replayed within the response time and a second expectation value with respect to second sensory quality of the user in the case that the response time is longer than the estimated response time and the first message voice and the added second message voice are replayed within the response time becomes maximum.
