FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radars and can be used in designing antenna devices for onboard correlation meters of altitude and ground velocity vector components of an aircraft. Antenna device of a radar altimeter system with high accuracy of measuring the transverse component of velocity vector differs from the known ones in the availability of additional two receiving antennae and a transmitting antenna with their interactions in the antenna device, which enables when flying over the surface the compensation for errors of slowly changing transverse component of the velocity vector caused by mutual influence of the antennae, reduction of errors of the transverse component of velocity vector by increasing cross opencast of the antennae.EFFECT: reduced error and higher accuracy of measurements.1 cl, 3 dwg
