<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electromagnetic clutch mechanism that can satisfy both of the retention of the response performance and the reduction of power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: Two coils, i.e. a main electromagnetic coil 1 formed by winding a large diameter copper wire with a small number of turns and an auxiliary electromagnetic coil 2 formed by winding a small diameter copper wire with a large number of turns, are provided on a yoke 3 of an electromagnetic actuator section A with an armature 4 for producing the pushing force in a clutch pack 7. A large electromagnetic attraction force is demonstrated by applying electric power to the main electromagnetic coil 1 when starting pressing the clutch pack 7. After the clutch pack 7 is engaged, the electric power is switched to the auxiliary electromagnetic coil 2 and the pressing condition of the clutch pack 7 is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
