<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive operation state management system for appropriately managing an operation state of a machine whose operation is controlled by a program. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a program supply device outputting a program A including instruction sections 101 with commands to control the operation of the machine described therein and a non-instruction section 130 having management information 110 with information about instruction contents in each instruction section 101; an operation control device outputting information to store the outputted program A in a buffer, sequentially executing the stored program A, and controlling the output from the supply device in response to a stored amount in the buffer; and an operation management device managing the operating state of the control device on the basis of management information 110 included in the program A outputted from the supply device.
