Screw connection without play between a wheel hub unit and an end of an articulated shaft of short design

Helical involute teeth, formed around the peripheral region of the shaft (4) of an outer coupling (3), are meshed to the involute teeth within the central region of the cylindrical receiving part (6) of a wheel hub (2), when both hub and coupling are pre-mounted together. The meshing action is performed in play-free manner. Maximum and minimum spacings are defined between contact surfaces of hub and outer coupling during pre-mounting. A bolt (7), which fastens both hub and coupling. The involute tooth of the shaft has an angle of 22 minutes with respect to the outer coupling center (X1).
