PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition which can be suitably used for producing a molded article or the like that has good physical properties and, after disposal, is readily degradable by microorganisms and enzymes existing in soil, river water, lake water, or seawater. SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin composition is prepared by mixing a biodegradable resin with a biodegradable filler, wherein the biodegradable resin is a polycarbonate resin and the biodegradable filler is derived from a plant.
