摘要 Zirconium-based alloy compositions for brazing filler to obtain improved corrosion resistance in zirconium or zirconium alloy joints and a joining method using the same are provided. By using the zirconium-based alloy in which titanium is limited to the minimum as brazing filler and brazing the zirconium or zirconium alloys, the constituent elements of the filler alloy can be diffused to the inside of the base metals and accordingly the joints whose composition is similar and uniform to that of the base metals and whose corrosion resistance is excellent under high temperature, high pressure, water, vapor, or water-vapor mixed condition can be obtained. Therefore, the alloy compositions can be used as brazing filler to join nuclear fuel cladding tubes (sheaths), bearing pads, spacers, spacer grids, and core structures of light and heavy water nuclear reactors.
