PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely control a load in a concentrated manner by air through a simple and economical facility using existing wiring without change. SOLUTION: A switching system has a switch unit 11 on the same alternating-current wiring L as lighting equipment 3. The switch unit 11 is provided with: a manual switch 12 that outputs an operation signal; a wireless circuit 13 that receives a control signal from the outside; a relay 14 that opens and closes a distribution line L2 to the lighting equipment; a control circuit 15 that turns on/off the relay 14 based on the operation signal or the control signal; a first power supply circuit 16 that takes operating power for the wireless circuit 13 and the control circuit 15 out of the distribution line L2 when the relay 14 is off; and a second power supply circuit 17 that takes operating power for the wireless circuit 13 and the control circuit 15 out of the distribution line L2 when the relay 14 is on.
