PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience for a user while suppressing security degradation. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a display means that displays an operation screen; an acceptance means that accepts input from a user; a display control means that changes the operation screen to a predetermined state when predetermined time elapses without accepting the user's operation by the acceptance means; and an acquisition means that acquires biological information of the user, wherein the display control means controls so as not to change the operation screen to the predetermined state even if the predetermined time elapses without accepting the user's input by the acceptance means if, within the predetermined time, the acquisition means acquires biological information of the last user from whom operation has been accepted by the acceptance means before the predetermined time has started to be counted.
