PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which dust and dirt adhered to filters are easily removed and the growth of a bacteria included in the adhered dust is suppressed. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a heat exchanger, the filters arranged upstream of the heat exchanger, and an air blowing fan for sending air passing through the filters to perform heat exchange by the heat exchanger. The filter includes a metallic plate having a mesh formed thereon by a photo-etching process and with antibacterial deodorizing resin which is arranged on the downstream side in the indoor air passing direction of the metallic plate and to which a charge-transfer catalyst is applied.
