<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that is capable of freely and dynamically defining releasing procedures of usage restrictions and deleting procedures of information stored in an apparatus, in which an expiration date is set, by a manager in accordance with a use state/environment. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes an acquisition means for acquiring expiration-date information being information about an expiration date of the information processing apparatus, a first determination means for determining whether the apparatus reaches the expiration date acquired by the acquisition means, a restriction means for executing usage restrictions of the information processing apparatus when determined by the first determination means that the apparatus reaches the expiration date, a registration means for registering specific processing procedures executed by the information processing apparatus as workflow information, and an execution means for executing the processing procedures described in the workflow information while the use of the information processing apparatus is being restricted by the restriction means when the workflow information is registered.
