摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency blast furnace operation method, in particular, with use of ferrocokes for preventing an adverse effect of use of bulky ore in a blast furnace.SOLUTION: A mixture of an iron raw material 3 having a softening initiation temperature lower than that of sintered ore 1 and ferrocokes 4 is fed into a blast furnace. The blending mass ratio of the iron raw material to the ferrocokes 4 in the mixture is preferably in the range of 90:10 to 70:30. The proximity arrangement of the iron raw material 3 with a softening initiation temperature lower than that of the sintered ore 1 and the ferrocokes 4 improves the reducibility of the iron raw material 3. The ferrocokes 4 has maximal reducibility improvement effect on the iron raw material 3. The reduction material ratio (fuel ratio) is thus remarkably improved with use of the ferrocokes 4.
